Workshops can be held over multiple days, a full day, or a half day. They can cater to both small, large groups. Fieldey possesses all of the necessary insurance and checks (working with children) to make the process simple, professional and hassle free.
Talks and Presentations
Fieldey can come to your school and discuss her artistic practice with students and teachers alike. Students benefit from interacting with a professional practicing artist and are able to ask questions and learn how they might pursue a career in art. Presentations are interactive and include audiovisual materials such as video and powerpoints. Fieldey’s engaging speaking style and presentations are highly engaging and inspiring for students seeking to pursue a non-traditional and sustainable career in art.
Collaborative Murals
Murals are a great way to beautify school grounds as well as to foster community in your school through engagement in a shared project. Schools can also work with local shopping complexes and councils to generate student-made public art.
An experienced muralist, Fieldey can guide students and teachers through the process of painting a mural, from initial concept development and approvals, through to the finished artwork. By managing the process and providing her expertise, Fieldey helps the students take an active role in creating a lasting mural for your school, while at the same time ensuring that the result is professional and polished. This option works well when combined with initial workshops that focus on skill development and the brainstorming of concepts.
Fieldey can engage students in the painting process in a variety of ways. Depending on age and skill level, students can contribute to the process of concept development, or can also take an active part in the painting themselves. Fieldey can also project-manage and provide support for students and teachers as they paint their own murals, or specifically design an inclusive mural which can be painted by students of a variety of different skill levels and age groups (for instance, a paint-by-numbers-type mural).
Fieldey can also be commissioned as a solo artist to paint a mural at your school, whether it be for a special event, or for general beautification and infrastructure improvement.

“Thank you for visiting Safety Bay Senior High School and running a whole day skateboard painting incursion with our Year 10 2D Visual Arts classes. Your informative demonstrations, combined with your friendly demeanour, encouraged students to approach you with any questions they had and provided them with the confidence to begin painting themselves.”
