Haylee’s public art portfolio spans Perth and beyond, with a strong focus on large-scale murals that blend storytelling, technical skill and place-based research. Her work frequently involves deep collaboration with communities, cultural advisers and fellow artists to create artworks that are both visually striking and culturally grounded.

One of her recent major projects was a high-concept mural for the pedestrian underpass at the new Whiteman Park Station, created in partnership with Noongar artist Rohin Kickett for the METRONET Morley–Ellenbrook Line. Delivered on time and within budget, this complex project demonstrated Haylee’s ability to manage multi-layered, high-profile artworks in active public environments.

She then led the creation of the artwork suite for METRONET’s new Morley Station car park. Developed through extensive research and community consultation, the murals and large perforated façade screens form a cohesive visual narrative that celebrates Morley’s history, people and urban identity.

In 2025, Haylee completed her largest project to date: a monumental 1.5-kilometre-long artwork for the Armadale Station viaduct as part of the METRONET Byford Rail Extension. Working alongside Mel McVee, Seantelle Walsh and Xander Rood (Amok Island), Haylee co-project managed the delivery of 60 painted viaduct piers, two 30-metre retaining walls, a 300m² illuminated soffit ceiling and all associated artwork integration. This landmark project showcases her capacity to lead teams, steward complex creative visions and deliver major public artworks at significant scale.
