PAST PROJECTS

Custom Window graphics for Coca-Cola

1/5/2018

Client: Coca-Cola

When: May 2018

Brief: Coca-Cola approached Fieldey to create a unique, digital window artwork for Polly Coffee Bar, an iconic venue in the heart of Perth's main cultural precinct. The artwork needed to respond to the cafe owner's feedback and guidance and also subtly incorporate Coca-Cola branding.

Outcome:  As the final digital artwork was to be printed onto vinyl and applied to the windows, Fieldey proposed creating a photographic-based montage. The theme is based on the Colombian coffee region, to echo the feedback from the owner of Polly, who wanted to emphasise coffee, jungles and their coffee growers in Latin America.

Fieldey took a professional photographer (Matt Fieldes Photography) and personally visited and directed the photography process on location in the Zona Cafeteria in Colombia.

Using the professional images, Fieldey created a vibrant jungle and coffee montage that subtly features Coca-Cola branding without detracting from a beautiful, bright, photographic artwork.

“We tasked Fieldey with a rather tricky brief. To pay homage to a unique venue, Pollys Coffee Bar, in one of the most iconic part in Perth.

Not only did Fieldey decipher our complex brief, she kept numerous stakeholders happy and engaged while providing a fantastic end solution that complimented the outlet and surrounds.

Fieldey was a delight to work with and I look forward to collaborating with her on many projects to come.”

Surfboard graphic to promote CITROËN Europe & ripcurl's NEW CACTUS C4

10/3/2016

Fieldey surfboard artwork used in an advertisement for Citroen and Ripcurl
Client: Havas Work Club, London  for Citroën and RipCurl

When: March 2016

Brief: To launch the new RipCurl edition Citroën C4 Cactus, Havas Work Club commissioned three of the world's best surf artists (Fieldey represented Australia) to create custom surfboard graphics for use in the launch advertising campaign in Europe. In addition, the three artists were to film the process on GoPros for a "making of" teaser.

Outcome: Fieldey hand painted an artwork, which she photographed, digitised to spec, and sent to the agency in London. Havas printed the artwork onto a mesh inlay which was glassed into specially hand-made boards. The resulting boards were photographed in appropriate locations and were used across the print and online media campaign in Europe. The boards were auctioned off to charity.

The resulting "making of" videos were used widely to promote the campaign.

LIQUITEX Skate art for OZ Comic-con

6/4/2015

Client: Jasco, Australian distributor of Liquitex Artist Paints

When: April 2015

Brief: Jasco commissioned Fieldey to create three showcase skate decks using Liquitex products to be displayed at their Oz Comic-Con booth. Alongside the artworks, Fieldey was to produce a "making of" video to be played at the same event.
Outcome: Fieldey used many of her popular old-school spray inspired techniques to demonstrate the adaptability and range of the Liquitex Aerosol paints. These techniques included base-spraying the boards with a basic fade, a liquid soap technique and using chains as a stencil. Over the top of these backgrounds, Fieldey created three "story boards"; a Little Red Riding Hood inspired board, a crazy blue/green bulldog and a skulls and chains tattoo-inspired board. The aim was to show how well the different products (spray paints and acrylic paints) worked together.
The boards enlivened the Liquitex booth display in at Oz Comic-Con in Melbourne, and the
video which was played during the event, was further used across Liquitex Australia's social media channels.
